An easy pullover that is doubled inside and out with US Organic Cotton Sherpa. An open, breathable design makes it comforting for windy, coastal days, yet light enough for mild mid-day sun. The funnelneck on this pullover insulates the neck, while is wide enough to provide ease of movement.
The Sherpa Pullover is inspired by the climate of San Francisco's Mediterranean weather, so while it is very warm and comforting, it is also very breathable. We use US Organic Cotton Sherpa. The natural properties of this fabric is remarkably soft and insulating. We also had colder climates in mind for this pullover, such as snowy days of the Northeast Kingdom and the bone-chilling winds on Chicago's Lake Michigan.
Part of our Drought Conscious™ collection, this garment is made from 100% US hemp sherpa. It is very special, and the only of its kind. Not only is hemp sherpa far more durable than other sherpa textiles (usually they have some sort of synthetic textile involved, such as acryllic or polyester), it is also naturally anti-microbial and remarkably soft and inviting. We do not dye this garment, and therefore there are natural variations of the hemp crop seen throughout in form of small light brown specks.
Please also take a moment to smell the garment--it smells like Earth because it is of the Earth.
